Brake booster
On modern motor vehicles the force that a driver can exert on the brake pedal may not always be enough to fully apply the vehicle’s brakes. This is remedied by attaching a booster directly to the master brake cylinder. It uses the partial vacuum inside the engine via a diaphragm to apply additional braking force. This makes the brakes easier and more comfortable to apply.
